About M.Kannan

M.Kannan M.Kannan

I came from a poor family in , Malaysia. I don’t really remember how it felt to be poor, but I still remember that my mom used to skip her dinner so that she can feed us. Being poor will severely limit your choices but it will teach you to survive with the limited choice that you have.

Anyway, thats the past… now I just have to think about increasing my current living standard.

When I was young, I had the following ambitions
Choice 1: Doctor
Choice 2: Manager
Choice 3: Teacher

I decided to forget about becoming a doctor because it takes too long to study and the chances of getting rich is quite slim. Since I am a manager now, I know that being a manager doesn’t make you rich.

My true interest is in theoretical physics. I wanted (or dreamed) to become a researcher in that . Unfortunately, there is no demand for that occupation in Malaysia. My ultimate ambition is to increase the human technology a step higher than it’s current position.

My favorite actress is Trisha & Shreya (clicking on this link will open Google Image search page).

About

As for me, my upbringing is different from my husband. I was born and bred in Klang. Quite a happening place since the famous river Klang and bah ku teh are from here. Studied in an all girls school and furthered my studies to university.

My family is a small one. I only have one younger sister who is working and going to get married next year. My father has retired but my mum is still working. I admire her strong will and courage to keep on working even though she is old. My even though retired  does the house work like cooking, cleaning, gardening and etc. He has his hands full whenever my son visits him cause he never leaves my out of his sight and sticks to him like a leech. My takes him wherever he wants to go.

During my school days i wanted to become a doctor. But it cost a lot to do medicine, so i decided to venture into the IT . At first i thought it was easy, but it was tough cause it required a lot of skills in mathematics. I hated maths since those days. But i managed to graduate on time. I worked for 6 months on contract basis with a private firm and finally managed to get a permanent job with the government. Its been 4 years now and my job is getting more challeging now.

I met my husband in February 2004 during thaipusam. He was introduced by my best friend. He called and we had a few conversations and meetings (those were the romantic days!). I think the cupid hit me really hard, cause i accepted him as soon as he proposed. We got registered in May 2004 and married exactly 1 year after that.

Life was hectic after marriage. Patmish was born in February 2006 after 9 months of pregnancy complications. I was relieved when he was out but the biggest challenge came when i had to take up the role as a mum. All those night feedings, cleaning, feeding and other stuffs. Most of my time were spent for him and with him. But the best part that i enjoy is watching him grow. He can run, climb and talk a bit now. He makes me laugh with his baby talk and mischievious antics. I love you Patmish Kumar!!!!
